Memory loss worries many of us as we get older. We might wonder if our own occasional forgetfulness means something more sinister than just old age, or we may be concerned about an aging parent’s memory loss.

Our EasyLiving/Aging Wisely team believes in providing quality education to the community about important aging issues, such as memory loss and dementia. Our Alzheimer’s and related disorders certified R.N., Marilyn Fratello, offers regular classes about memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease. They are free and open to anyone in the community who wants to have a better understanding of memory loss disorders.

Our upcoming class will be held on Friday, November 13th from 2:00-4:00 PM. The class covers the basics of memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease such as definitions, symptoms and diagnosis. Marilyn helps you to distinguish memory loss symptoms that are part of normal aging from those possibly related to dementia or other conditions. She also shares great information to help Alzheimer’s caregivers, such as resources and tools. Marilyn will provide guidance on coping after a person has been diagnosed. Call us at 727-447-5845 or email admin@EasyLivingFL.com to reserve your seat (or for assistance or questions with any eldercare issues!).
