This baseball season, we’re encouraging our clients and friends to consider a baseball outing for a fun day or evening out…and there’s no better place to do so locally than with the Clearwater Threshers!
The Clearwater Threshers play at Bright House Field, right in the middle of Clearwater and super accessible from Tampa, St. Pete and north Pinellas County or even Pasco County. Here’s a quick link to directions to see the Clearwater Threshers and their schedule. It is a beautiful ballpark to enjoy a day out in the Florida weather. This is also the home of the Phillies for Spring Training, an activity we highly recommend for all ages! Bright House Field is fully ADA accessible.
Logistics for older adults attending a Clearwater Threshers game:
- Contact our Senior Concierge Team to help you plan all the logistics for a great outing and provide transportation, pleasant company and assistance when needed.
- Consider choosing shaded seats for daytime games (see the link below for info. or check with ticketing staff).
- Handicapped seating: Disabled seating is available throughout the ballpark. Limited wheelchair seating is available (check with the ticket office in person or via phone). One companion seat is available for purchase with each wheelchair space. An elevator is available for disabled use on the first base side of the stadium (South Parking Lot). Drop-off is available on the West Side of the ballpark (no elevator access here). Ushers can provide assistance entering and exiting the ballpark.
- You cannot bring food or drink into the stadium, with the exception of one unopened bottle of water/person. There are some extra special concessions at Bright House stadium, such as Delco Cheesesteaks and other “Philly-area favorites” plus local flavors like Lee Roy Selmon’s BBQ and Cuban sandwiches.

Clearwater Threshers Promotions and Senior Specials
Older baseball fans might consider joining the Clearwater Threshers’ Silver Sharks club (for those over age 55). For $20/year, it includes admission to all Wednesday games (mostly at noon), parking at Wednesday games, a free Threshers seat cushion, team store discount, and the opportunity to throw out the first pitch.
Coming up soon, don’t miss out on Clearwater Threshers Senior Days at the ballpark: on April 13th and 20th, seniors 55+ may purchase two box seats for the price of one.
The Clearwater Threshers run many promotions, ranging from free shirts to fireworks and after-game concerts. They have Feeding Frenzy Mondays, which gets you unlimited select concessions plus admission for $13. They also have Sunday brunches–a fun day out with brunch a club seat included.
