Kathy Farhangi is EasyLiving’s Inspirational Caregiver of the Month for September! Congratulations to Kathy and our sincere thanks for your dedication!
Kathy was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Eighteen years ago, the warmth and sunshine of Florida beckoned Kathy and her husband to move here and start a family. She has one daughter and an amazing 6 1/2 months-old grandson.
Kathy has always been a great believer in giving back to the community and has gone back to school to become a Volunteer Elder Advocate. A Volunteer Elder Advocate gives a voice to those who have none. One of her clients has Parkinson’s disease and Kathy is proud that she is able to help her communicate with those around her. Being able to give this client a voice and winning smiles on the faces of her other clients keeps her job very special to her.
What does the future hold for Kathy besides playing and spoiling her new grandson? She plans on becoming an LPN so she can do more hands-on work with clients. Congratulations, Kathy, for a job well done and being there to help your clients stay happily at home!
